The 2025 edition of “De-a Arhitectura TALKS” offers a space for dialogue and co-creation around how we can collaboratively build an education system relevant to the 21st century. More than just a conference, TALKS 2025 is an international platform for the exchange of best practices between two complementary fields — education and the built environment.
The discussions aim to connect Sustainable Development Education (SDE) with Built Environment Education (BEE). The spaces where we live, learn, and grow — from the classroom to the neighborhood — can become living laboratories for interdisciplinary, ecological, and democratic learning.
Organized by the De-a Arhitectura Association in partnership with the “Architecture and Children” Work Program of the International Union of Architects (UIA) and the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest, the event brings together, in an open and interactive format, teachers, architects, urban planners, researchers, and representatives of cultural and educational institutions from Romania and around the world.
